The adidas Consortium 4D Returns With Completely Reworked Upper

The adidas Consortium 4D Returns With Completely Reworked Upper

The adidas Consortium 4D is back with a completely new identity as its debut launch is set to arrive at retailers on December 21st. Arguably the model’s biggest presence came in 2018 in the form of four collaborations (KITH, SNS, Invincible, and Foot Patrol), but those iterations relied on a fully knit upper with a minimal aesthetic. The newest iteration may still attain the low-profile look, but there’s a multi-layered construction with thin overlays and asymmetric tongues that remind us of Nike’s React Element series. Below the redesigned shell is the Futurecraft 4D sole in the flagship Aero Green hue. The Consortium 4D will likely have a larger presence in 2020 with collaborations most certainly in the works, so stay tuned for updates and look out for these to arrive at adidas Consortium retailers on 12/21 for $350.
