Nike Delivers A New Air Force 1 Shadow With Volt Accents

The Air Force 1 Low boasts a catalog of impressive colorways – collaborative and mainline – but perhaps most notable about its growing laundry list of releases is how it’s been re-worked time after time into something recognizable, but still new. Nike did it earlier this year with the release of the Air Force 1 Type – a semi-deconstructed take on the ’82 model – and again with the Air Force 1 Shadow – a shoe intended for women that capitalizes on the multi-layered construction seen across sacai‘s collaborations with Beaverton. The visually-bulky model has already dropped in a classic all-white colorway, but its forthcoming release ups the ante just a bit by adding hits of the fan-favorite “Volt” across its side Swooshes, tongue, and double-heel tab. The “in-your-face” color also makes its way onto the “AIR” branding found on the additional back panel superimposed on the traditional midole, as well as the leather peeking out from under the white lace guard. If you’re interested in giving your triple-white Air Force 1s a much deserved break, you can expect these to drop on Nike.com and select retailers in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy official images of the sneaker here below.
