adidas Broadens Futurecraft With The Pharrell Williams 4D

adidas Broadens Futurecraft With The Pharrell Williams 4D

Though once much, much more limited, adidas Futurecraft — likely with the refinement of both process and technology — has begun to broaden its scope and scale, ushering in many an inline release alongside collaborations equally forward thinking. Recently dressed in all black thanks to the technical ethos of Y-3, the 4D soles are now bracing for eclecticism at the hands of renowned artist Pharrell. Unlike any of his signature silhouettes aesthetically, the pair is still unequivocally of the Hu family, opting for Primeknit constructions, the patented cushioning, and even branded tabs in a framing dubbed bluntly as the Pharrell Williams 4D. Two color schemes, an olive and purple, are set to arrive just later this month (right before Christmas, thankfully) with minute details shared without bias: chaotic embroideries line the entire heel in lieu of any overlaid support while the Three Stripes logo hits come painted on instead of laid atop; then, laces loop through pre-cut sections sans any metal backing or the like, wrapping up to a ribbed elastic band at the collar topped wth the “Hu” stamp just along its side. Grab a detailed look at both offerings right here, and if you’re interested in grabbing these, they’ll be dropping at adidas.com and select retailers on December 20th for a retail of $400 USD.
