After an 8-day trip to the snowy atmosphere of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, KITH has now officially unveiled their upcoming collection with adidas Terrex. Designed equally for those who brave the black top slopes as well as for those who still want to look fresh whilst sipping hot chocolate posted up outside their winter cabin, the products are structurally built for the outdoor terrain, but channelled through a lifestyle perspective. Two models of the Free Hiker silhouette get reworked by the NYC-based streetwear imprint, both executed with different details and constructions.
The first is the Free Hiker GTX that features a stark black Primeknit base reinforced with waterproof exteriors and asymmetrical KITH and adidas branding split between each lateral panels. Eyelets are embroidered each in a different color that give an almost rainbow-like element to the throat, and are all merged together in iridescent fashion on the heel clip. The next colorway takes a different constructional point of view as the entire upper is assembled with premium suede, making this the first of its kind to receive this treatment. With a much more vibrant approach, the snow-ready model possesses a heat-mapping theme which boasts a collection of primary colors distributed throughout its panels arriving loosely similar to Blue the Great’s recent Air Jordan 1 makeover. Capture a detailed look at each pair here ahead, and find these dropping alongside a full apparel collection this Friday, December 20th at all KITH shops and on their website for $250 each.
