The adidas Superstar Embarks On A “City Pack” With This Parisian Interpretation

Since the release of its highly limited collaboration with Prada, the adidas Superstar can’t seem to let its momentum die out anytime soon as it keeps showing up in multiple unique forms. From a see-through collaboration with Blondey McCoy to a Chinese New Year rendition to dressing up with your favorite Pokemon characters, the iconic shell-toe silhouette keeps upping the diversity of its lineage by the week. Another installment is preparing to join amongst its ranks as the first pair of its upcoming “City Pack” that serves as a love letter to Paris has emerged. French city tributes are placed directly upon the heels in bold text that lie just above an Asian character embellishment, followed by Earth-shaped icons printed atop tongue tabs and insoles that contribute to its global thematics. From an aesthetics standpoint, most of its shape lends itself to a tonal white leather canvas, with the exception of a few sprinkled notes of navy hues that outline its medial Three Stripe branding. Stay tuned as we learn more of its official release date and pricing info, and expect these to drop on adidas.com in the near future. In addition, keep an eye out for the unveiling of more city-inspired offerings to come.
