Michael Le After being given the first class treatment by Jordan Brand — which entailed both an AJ1 and AJ6 served on an earth tone dressed and military-inspired platter — Travis Scott is moving on to other inline Nike ventures, forgoing the Air Force 1 he often indulges to rethink the entire being of the Air Max 270 React. As is fitting, the hybridized silhouette is suped up with eclectic touch, bearing in mind the aesthetics La Flame cherishes personally; this means everything from the core upper to the doubly cushioned sole unit arrives changed almost entirely from their original presentation. The latter, which thankfully retains its general shape, is yellowed and distressed in a finish intensively aged though with intention. Elsewhere, the panels of the top half are warped with a waved formation of overlays ostensibly borrowing from adjacent models; these, as well as the suede pieces towards the heel as well as the accentuated pull tab at the back, are dyed to a soft desert sand, which then contrast against laid out pieces of dark brown at the toe cap and a mix of grey, red, and blue along the lace unit.
