An Alternate Black/Gum Version Of Nepenthes NY’s Reebok Workout Is Coming Soon

An Alternate Black/Gum Version Of Nepenthes NY’s Reebok Workout Is Coming Soon

Reebok is beginning 2020 similar to how it began this year: collaborating with Nepenthes NY on the classic Reebok Workout Plus. This forthcoming collaborative effort keeps the hairy DNA of last February’s release but paints the textured panels and the rest of the uppers entirely in black. The only contrasts to the tonal choice comes by way of the white and red found across the Reebok branding at the heel and tongue. Supporting the understated upper is a fan-favorite brown gum-sole that very much falls in line with Needles’ – another Keizo Shimizu-founded brand – Sportswear offerings for Fall/Winter 2019, which are full of tans, drab olives, and fuzzy jaguar prints.

The second (of hopefully many more) collaboration between Reebok and Nepenthes NY arrives to Reebok.com on January 1st, 2020 for $120 USD.
