Michael Le Certainly a long time coming — for both the collaborator and silhouette — Poets Brand reunites with Nike SB to help usher back in the somewhat obscure Bruin Low, giving it a makeover subtle though truly furnished with their own aesthetic. On its exterior, the pair only bears a two-part palette, though fabrications lends with it a striking note of intricacy as it swaps between luxe suede overlays to more sturdy and textural canvas bases. Midsoles, as it always bears, takes on a textured finish entirely from wall to wall, only breaking up towards the midpoint as the oversized swoosh droops down with its punchy neon green coloring. Elsewhere, the silhouette is mostly true-to-form as it opts for a sleek overall look with branded accents spelling out both the line-up and the skateboarding institution, the latter obviously more overt as it embroiders atop the heel tab and sits just underneath the “Nike SB” patch stitched across the tongue. Insoles, finished with the same logo, set a backdrop of black and white striping in further contrast of its more neutral surroundings. Grab an official look at these right here and expect releases to be staggered: January 2nd will see to the first drop by Poets themselves with shops following shortly behind on January 4th.
