Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 3 Retro SE “Fire Red”

Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 3 Retro SE “Fire Red”

This year’s All Star Weekend is already poised to be one of the best in terms of Jordan Releases, turning the tides with the 1985 shape of the AJ1, teaming up with Off-White for Virgil’s now second Jumpman silhouette, and bringing to light another Air Jordan 3 sans floral accents and distracting animal prints. Instead, the pair takes a different direction towards the meaning of bold, outfitting in an almost entirely red kit that seems to pay homage to DJ Khaled’s “Grateful” collaboration from a few years back. Effectively a charcuterie board of different leathers, the construction seats smooth variations unto the mudguard while tumbling to a high degree along the majority of the upper, stopping, then, at the grey detailing across the tongue, ankle, and eye stays — the latter two preferring a mosaic of perforation. Heel counters and toe caps, however, brandish with the ever-coveted elephant print in the same monochrome tones while the “Nike Air” branded overlays prefer a black rubber piece to better match the laces and rear-placed midsole blocking. Grab a close-up look at these just below and expect to find them hitting select shops and Nike.com on February 15th.
