As they find themselves in the midst of the winter season, the Converse design team is revealing their latest creations engineered to keep our feet warm and cozy through sub degree weather. For their latest iterations of their popular Chuck 70 silhouette, they are ditching the wild graphics that they recently applied to their “Twisted” Classics collection, and instead opt for winterized functionality by upgrading two pairs of high-profile colorways with Primaloft uppers. The insulated materials usually reinforced into puffy outerwear pieces sold by outdoor apparel companies such as The North Face and Patagonia, is now infused into the lifestyle sneaker’s constructions that upgrade them with a new level of warmth and durability. Both variations leave their classic ivory-colored midsoles untouched, but color up their higher regions with vibrant gradience involving “Royal Blue” and “Rose Maroon” hues that gradually darken when moving from the forefoot to the heels. Available now at select Converse retailers, these Chuck 70s are priced at $100 a piece.
