AMBUSH And Converse Redesign The Duck Boot For Their Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection

AMBUSH And Converse Redesign The Duck Boot For Their Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection

Yoon of AMBUSH has undoubtedly hit her stride in the past few years, teaming up with Kim Jones to flesh out the more adventurous side of Dior while linking up with Nike and Converse to realize her own footwear ideas. The former let her fuse two of her childhood favorites — the Glove and the Air Max 180 — and the latter let her turn their most important icons into militaristic and waterproof kits. AW2020 continues these themes as the Boston-based notable applies similar motifs in a loud tonal blue styling, shaping what looks to be the Chuck 70 into the guise of a much more aggressive Duck Boot. Uppers, with rubberized paneling at its seams and a much more pronounced toe cap, all color in the very same cool tone, brandishing along the heel in bold-faced text of “AMBUSH” as well as the corresponding size. Tread then helps out in the way of the silhouette, complementing the general profile with a gripping lug sole. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect to see them in more detail as we arrive closer to the Fall 2020 season.
