Pharrell Teases Possible adidas Superstar Collaboration

Pharrell Teases Possible adidas Superstar Collaboration

Celebrating 50 years since its inception on the sneakers scene, the adidas Superstar has been slowly but surely uncovering its boatload of release plans throughout the month of January. Building upon its already fairly substantial list of revealed City Packs, Chinese New Year iterations, and RUN D.M.C. variations, it looks as though the classic silhouette may have unofficially teased another project in the works that involves long time collaborator and multi-hyphenate icon, Pharrell Williams. Subtly making a cameo appearance in the latest Three Stripes #ChangeIsATeamSport campaign ad directed by Jonah Hill, the pair looks to take carry an angelic clean canvas, and gets spun off with Skateboard P’s artistic touch through multi-shaded/asymmetrically-shaped green blocks featured along medial panels and thick yellow stripes on the lateral sides. Due to the fact that one of the first collections the two parties ever worked on was the 50 piece “Supercolor” Pack from 2015, these kicks can conceivably serve as a nod to the formative stages of their collaborative history. Peep a first look here below, and stay tuned for any updates we receive regarding an official release date.
