It seems as though the New Balance team is aching to reach the warmer seasons already as many of their silhouettes such as their Colorist collaboration with KITH, Valentine’s Day project with Joe Freshgoods, and 801 offerings with Paperboy Paris have been ones of Spring/Summer-ready vibrance. Carrying over this multi-colored essence to their GR lineup, the Boston-based imprint is now dressing up their 997 model with heaps of soft pastels. Most of its upper constructions welded with leather, pigskin suede, and mesh materials are left to alternating shades of white and grey, which then authorize the brighter pigments to take center stage. Divided up between the heel and forefoot overlays and the tongue arrives a trio of navy, bright sea foam, and muted cerise pink accents which definitely evoke measurable amounts of Easter emotion. You can view more images of the pair here below, and note that they are currently available for purchase at select New Balance retailers for $260 USD.
