Andrew Rizzo Looks like Saint Nick’s sleigh is getting loaded up early. The Air Jordan 3 remains in heavy rotation for the Jumpman with a “Santa” style featuring a Christmas-inspired colorway and special details dating back to the Air Jordan line’s very inception, shown here for the first time via detailed images.
Taking after Santa’s red suit and white beard, the Jordan 3 goes a predictable route with a University Red leather upper and Gym Red hits on the toe and heel. The tongue arrives in white with outlined red Jumpman stitching to stay within the theme, with more white painting the midsole and center eyestay.
The inner lining is where things begin to get interesting, taken with a fuzzy black fabric reminiscent of Santa’s boots. The insoles carry a graphic of an Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” pulled straight from Nike’s Air Jordan 1 Christmas ad all the way back in 1985, seen above.
