Elliot Santiago After teaming up with Nike last year on the Air Max 90 to slap on their famous tally mark logo to the heels of several colored options, streetwear stalwart UNDEFEATED wanted to up the ante for their next project by making even more constructional modifications. Elements including that of the technical mesh, streamlined uppers, elongated Swooshes, and removals of the mid-foot windows all contribute to its retro-futuristic personality. In terms of the colorways, the more foggy installment in black/grey was designed to spotlight the modernized structure and textures. On the other hand, its release sibling is crafted as a nod to the Swoosh’s ACG/running categories and is reflected through its more flashy outdoor hues of “Pacific Blue” and neon volts and pinks to further echo the collection’s mantra of bridging the gap between old and new. If you’re looking to get your hands on either pair, the black colorway will be releasing on March 14th at UNDFTD shops, followed by a Nike SNKRS release on March 19th, while the blue variation will be dropping on March 26th (Air Max Day) as an UNDFTD exclusive.
