The Nike Air Max 2090 Appears In Navy Blue And Burgundy

Ahead of its official Air Max Day 2020 debut, Nike’s “current shoe of the future,” the Air Max 2090, continues to reveal an impressive follow-up roster. A navy blue ensemble featuring burgundy and yellow accents now joins “Midnight Turquoise” and “Lava Glow” colorways.

Uppers on the modernized Air Max 90 are inspired by electric cars. The silhouette’s latest outfit forgoes vibrant red and green, but still utilizes opacity around the forefoot and midfoot not only to distinguish the most supportive materials from the least, but also to bring a piece of the year 2090 into the modern day. Mudguards contrast their dark blue mesh underlays, but equally allow their colored-stitching to revel in the spotlight. Elsewhere, tongues and heels follow suit as they take a backseat to their burgundy and yellow tooling, the former also animating the Air Max 200-like enclosure underfoot.

No release date has yet been confirmed for this Air Max 2090, but pairs are likely to arrive on Nike.com in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy an official look at the shoes here below.

In related Air Max news, the Travis Scott 270 is rumored to drop on April 10th after first being teased December 2019.
