Nike Brings Back The Air Max 95 Greedy, A Remix Of OG Colorways

Fresh off news that it’s returning in “Neon” later this year, the Nike Air Max 95 has emerged in another mishmash arrangement. Unlike size?‘s “20 for 20” take, however, the latest remixes original colorways of Sergio Lozano’s 25-year-old design.

Dubbed “Greedy,” the scheme combines a handful of past releases to frankenstein this Air Max 95, à la “What The” SB Dunk Low. Serving as a follow-up to the concept first executed for the silhouette’s 20th Anniversary (2015), this year’s pair keeps “Volt” lace loops, “Hot Red” branding and “Aqua” accents, but forgoes “Safety Orange” and “Grape” styling. Instead, “Slate Blue,” “White” and “Black accents join the mix, most notably on left shoes. Lateral sides nod to the 95’s “Gunsmoke/Grey Fog” base – just as the first “Greedy” iteration – but their adjacent components opt for non-OG compositions. Mudguards, medial overlays, mesh shrouds, lining and midsoles partake in a monochromatic pattern reminiscent of last season’s COMME des GARÇONS collaboration. Outsoles follow suit in “Black,” but Airbags revel in a mix of the aforementioned vibrant hues.

Details of an official Nike.com launch are still unknown, but this Air Max 95 Greedy arrives to select retailers in Asia on April 15th. Until then, enjoy a closer look at 2015’s follow-up here below.
