Kyrie Irving’s kindred connection to aboriginal communities was highlighted by the Kyrie 4 N7 release of two years ago, with the sneaker proudly supporting the Standing Rock Sioux nation during their ordeal against the Dakota Access Pipeline. Irving’s late mother, who is heavily honored on his signature footwear, was an enrolled member of the tribe, and thusly the N7 initiative as a whole has considerable important to the elite basketball star.
It appears as if Kyrie Irving’s footwear will take part in an upcoming N7 collection as these first images reveal the current Kyrie 6 model an a tan base with accents of crimson read, peach, and a greenish teal. The N7 logo is clearly spotted on the left tongue, while an inspired seeing eye graphic is embroidered onto the medial mid-foot panels.
Typically, Nike’s summer N7 product launches in June, but we’ll have to wait and see if things will be on schedule given the COVID-19 situation. But in other Kyrie 6 news, the “Midnight Navy” colorway has been postponed yet again, as it will now drop on May 21st.
