It surely wasn’t predictable but the Nike Dunk is fully immersed in the spotlight once again, and its striking resurgence has resulted in resell prices of classic styles to skyrocket, as well as spawned a whole new generation of collaborators such as Travis Scott, Ben & Jerry’s, and more to come out of the woodworks. And of course the division within the Swoosh’s family to capitalize on this wave is Nike SB as they are readying a band of exciting new releases this year. One of them being this forthcoming colorway inspired by Grateful Dead. Dressed as if impersonating the rock band’s iconic dancing bears artwork, this upcoming iteration comes clad in vibrant green foundations that alternate between sultry suede and furry textures, and is neighbored by electric blues placed atop the treading and jagged edged Swooshes to mimick the mammal’s scarf-like accessory. Moreover, an actual graphic of the muse himself is stamped on the tongue to echo its motif. Peep a closer look here, and keep it locked as we receive more word of its official release likely on Nike.com and at select stockists.
In other news, here’s a first look at the Laser Orange Jordan 3.
