The Air Jordan 1 Low has slightly slowed down its release cycle over the last season, but recently surfaced pairs are looking to change that. Case in point: a non-original, but compelling maroon and black colorway.
As with most recent pairs, this Jordan 1 Low indulges in some variant of the model’s most iconic arrangements. Black at the toe box, midfoot panel and tongue nod to the original from 1985, though it arguably falls more inline with the Jordan 1 85 from this past February. Wine-colored leather overlays around the toe, tongue and heel add a new, but familiar spin to Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. Most accompanying branding follows the tried-and-tested, but this low-top Jordan 1 introduces Jumpman logo tags hanging from the tongue along with other accoutrements rooted in Jordan Brand’s heritage across the laces. Underfoot, this Air Jordan retro delivers a classic white midsole/colored outsole combination.
Full release details are still unknown, but this Jordan 1 Low is likely to arrive quietly to Nike.com during summer. For now, enjoy a closer look at the pair here below.
