Though they continue to bring model’s back in their original likeness, adidas seems to be more interested in turning their retro classics modern with brand new namesakes and a completely trend-defined design. The Streetball, though it was only recently revived, is already seeing to this very treatment as it adopts the Niteball themes.
Almost reminiscent of the Wave Runner or the similarly modified Ozweego, the silhouette constructs with an obvious dad shoe aesthetic. The sole, whose bulk is marked by various molds and chiseled side walls, sets the tone for the rest of the upper whose constructions are maximal from a visual standpoint. Three Stripe logos take the form of oversized webbing, sitting as the only notable branding as it loops through the eye stay from underneath the mudguard. Elsewhere, various leather panels accent in neutral tones across both colorways, while its underlying and accenting details are tweaked by a small margin. Black takes the mesh underneath on one while its alternate prefers a brighter white, while secondary coloring takes the palettes of Yellow/Orange/Blue and Purple/Navy/Pink, respectively.
