Vetements And Reebok Revisit Their Scribbled Instapump Fury In Black

Since the slow fall of fashion parody, Vetements has lost a small bit of steam, but even in their most recent collections, the label expresses the same vibrant energy and irreverent do whatever attitude. Their Reebok collaborations, while once a consistent part of the footwear brand’s release calendar, has slowed quite a bit alongside; this, however, may start to change as the two make a return to their scribble-clad Instapump Fury.

Now dressed in full black, the pair exhibits a new sense of maturity — though that is quickly lost as you scan through the various drawings, doodles, and intentionally cringey text. “I’m bored!” vandalizes with youthful angst, highlighting itself in bright yellow much like the (possibly too soon) “ME TOO” at the eye stay. Elsewhere, hearts seem to blend into pentagrams, peace signs are turned over onto their side, and random splotches hit the toe box, heel, and everything in between in a spectrum of relatively understated color. Further text etches with no room for blank space, expanding the reading material into seemingly incoherent ramblings.

Grab a detailed look at these right here, and while no release date has been confirmed just yet, expect to learn more in the coming months.

In other news, the latest Craig Green adidas capsule was just revealed.
