Following up collaborative and solo-efforts for Nike SB, the Nike Blazer has emerged in its fan-favorite Mid ’77 trim. Unlike previous pairs, which have predominantly been clad in “White”, the latest from this once-basketball-icon arrives in an all-over “Mantra Orange” suede and canvas.
The Blazer Mid 77, which has become a mainstay product following the success of OFF-WHITE and sacai‘s “deconstruction” of the silhouette, features an exposed foam tongue, suede reinforcement at the toe and lateral forefoot, and shape straight from the ’70s. Medial sides, profile Swooshes, and heel panels are constructed with canvas; the two most latter components interrupt the aforementioned orange palette in an eye-catching “Bright Crimson” hue. Underfoot, rubber sole units, just as laces and Nike branding throughout, forgo this Blazer Mid‘s bold color scheme in favor of a classic “White” one.
An official Nike.com launch hasn’t been announced, but this Blazer Mid ’77 is likely to arrive throughout the summer. For now, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, more pairs of the Jordan 1 are popping up in a “Black Toe” style.
