The Nike Air Max 1 Golf Drops In “Lemon Venom”

The Nike Air Max 1 Golf Drops In “Lemon Venom”

With golf being one of the only sports in which social distancing is made possible, it makes sense that folks would be more inclined to flock towards the fairways for physical activity as they navigate through this global pandemic. And it makes even more sense for Nike to pump out more footwear options for their avid 18-hole course and driving range attendees, so they’ve capitalized on this by revealing putting range-ready makeups of their Air Max 97 and Air Max 270 in recent memory. Adding one more into the family, the Swoosh is bringing back their Air Max 1 Golf which, after receiving a Spring-friendly “Jade Aura” update back in April, is turning up the vibrance on loud for this forthcoming Summer-esque colorway.

Upper halves mainly rely on a band of neutrals as its mesh base panels are left to a colorless complexion, while the raised Swooshes and mudguards complement with foggy grays. But the neon accents is where these gain their spirit as a “Lemon Venom” tone offsets the greyscale elements along the entire midsole as well as the interior sock liners and footbeds. Golf spikes down below bring everything together with a stealthy finish. If you plan on attempting to hit more birdies and eagles anytime soon and need new kicks, be on the lookout for these to drop on Nike.com in the coming weeks for the usual $130.

In other news, here’s an official look at the upcoming Nike ACG Air Zoom AO hiking shoe.
