Though not exactly new, the New Balance 992 has received more praise in 2020 than it ever has in its original run. While once overshadowed by the starring 990 series as well as the plethora of adjacent Made in USA offerings, the 992 has effectively turned the tables around with both modern GRs and collaborations alike. The latest, which seems like a product of the brand’s option heavy customization platform, makes use of a three statement tones pared down with a relatively ordinary primary color accented tooling. Yellows dress much of the entire base — the suedes and mesh simultaneously — while the separated mudguard below and eye stay panels above prefers a dark swathe of black and saturated red, respectively. “992” branding finishes along the tongue with little else to support, finishing apart from the “USA” and “NEW BALANCE” text that dresses the heel counter. Grab a good look at these here and expect a release to hit select retailers and Newbalance.com soon.

In other news, a Lime Green New Balance 327 was revealed.
