The Nike Air Max 90 “Worldwide” Closes In On Japan With Katakana Type

The Nike Worldwide Pack adds yet another Air Max 90 into the mix. Unlike the first iterations teased, however, the latest ’90 silhouette nods to Japan with katakana type.

Clad in a “White/Blue Fury/Black/Volt” color palette prevalent among the multi-pair collection, the latest Air Max option delivers one of the boldest styles given its all-over graphics. “ナイキ” (“Nike” in katakana) print covers each leather overlay and is accompanied by bright blue “WORLDWIDE” text. Multi-colored miniature Swooshes are embroidered onto the neon green toe box, while their larger, traditional counterpart lays on the profiles in “Black”. Underfoot, the bold tones take over the visible Airbag and its enclosure, while the waffle-style outsole completes the pair in a translucent finish.

A release date is still unknown, but this Air Max 90 “Worldwide” is likely to launch on Nike.com during summer. For now, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, a truer-than-most Jordan 1 Mid Chicago has emerged.
