Jovani Hernandez Since being officially announced as part of the Jordan Brand Fall 2020 collection, the women’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Satin Red” has emerged in kid and toddler iterations. All three sizes are scheduled to launch on August 6th.
A blend of the Jordan 1‘s original “Chicago” colorway and “Satin Black Toe” arrangement from 2019, the pair marries street-style and performance-basketball heritage. The silhouette’s inaugural palette takes over the majority of the shoe, with rich red taking over signature overlays across the forefoot and midfoot, collar panels, and satin tongues. Profile Swooshes indulge in a black scheme, but boast reptilian scales; the first Air Jordan‘s embossed ankle flaps and heel swath follow suit. Underfoot, the forgoes any exotic animal skin or eye-catching tone for a tried-and-tested white midsole/black outsole combination.
