Packer Has A New Balance 992 Collaboration In The Works

Objectively one of this year’s best, the New Balance 992 has teamed up with a large roster of noteworthy collaborators since its revival, including but not limited to JJJJound, WTAPS, and many more yet to be revealed. Packer Shoes, whose relationship with the Boston footwear brand is relatively longstanding, is now poised to be among such a talented group as Victor Kan, one of the team’s buyers, teases a small glimpse of their very own colorway.

Simple and understated as the silhouette should be, the offering seems to only use color in seldom. Small hits of orange suede, which lean closer to muted than the alternative, arrives patched onto the toe cap, eye stays, profile paneling, and even the mesh along the collar. Elsewhere, silver metallic finishes shine along their usual spots, accenting and supporting the toe box and likely the heel counter as well. Mesh then outfits underneath the entire construction, bearing a cream coat that complements well the laces and overlays seen along the tongue.

Grab a short but close-up look at these right here, and if you have your eyes set on a release, sit tight as we await more info.
