Throughout its 50th Anniversary, the adidas Superstar has dressed up in dozens of notable ensembles – collaborative and otherwise. And while its latest look opts into the silhouette’s tried-and-tested colorway, it boasts golf-ready spikes for the first time.

As was the case in 1950, the spiked-Superstar dons a full-leather construction save for the rubber shell-toe and sole unit. “Cloud White” sets the stage for the “Core Black” and “Gold Metallic” accents throughout the entire shoe; the former hue takes over profile 3-Stripes and heel panels, while the latter animates branding on the tongue and lateral midfoot. Underfoot, sole units indulge in their original all-“Cloud White” arrangement, but feature six cleat attachments across the outsole. Trefoil logos near the center add another touch of heritage to the tweaked-for-the-links Originals option, though water-repellence isn’t mentioned in its tech specifications.

Enjoy official images of the Superstar Golf ahead, while you wait for pairs to arrive to adidas.com on August 17th.
