Of the laundry list of New Balance collaborators, one whom has quickly gained notoriety over the course of this past year has certainly been Aimé Leon Dore. Helmed by the creative mind of Teddy Santis, the elevated streetwear imprint has applied its minimal-yet-tasteful touch to classic NB silhouettes such as the 997, 990v2, 990v2, and more recently the 827. And now, it appears that their partnership is set to be further enriched with another capsule that involves the ever-classic 1300.
Revealed by Santis himself today, the collection appears to be comprised of two straightforward colorways — a noticeable departure from the multi-color assortments that stylized aforementioned 827 trio. The first pair comes dyed with kelly green mesh and hairy suede uppers, all of which are complemented by way of light grey “N” logos, creamy tongues, and white laces (this pair was teased on Santis’ IG a few months back). Its release sibling is one of brighter allure as its base layer is coated with a muted pink finish, and color-blocked with dark navy hits applied to the heel paneling and side branding. Down below, both pairs are mated by ivory midsoles and treading cowled in all black. Peep a closer look here and stay tuned as we receive more information regarding their official launch date.
