Nike, however, has recently launched a Pegasus 37 collection commemorating 19 teams in the National Collegiate Athlete Association. Among them, the Ohio State Buckeyes, University of Michigan Wolverines, and University of Oregon Ducks.
Each running sneaker features a mix of “White/Pure Platinum” across its lightweight, but durable mesh upper. Accompanying accents throughout the laces, branding, and sole unit indulge in their pair’s respective school’s colors: “University Red”, “College Navy/Amarillo”, or “Apple Green/Yellow Strike”. As these React foam-cushioned options are meant to help their wearers rep their team of choice, Ohio State, Michigan, and Oregon’s sports programs’ logos are stamped on the lateral heel. Furthermore, left shoes have each school’s name printed on their sockliner, as well as a message of encouragement on the spine.
