The Nike KD 13 Is Arriving Soon In “Cool Grey”

As Kevin Durant‘s Brooklyn Nets head into their third playoffs matchup against the Toronto Raptors, the Nike KD 13 has emerged in a “Cool Grey” colorway perfect for the DC-native to have laced on the hardwood in Orlando, Florida.

In the same spirit of previously-seen pairs, the forthcoming release favors a neutral palette that would have allowed all attention to go to Durant’s performance in his NBA championship pursuit. Various shades of grey take over the entire upper, with the darkest shade appearing across the Jordan 1-reminiscent ankle flaps and laces. Padding around the collar and suede right above the chunky midsole indulge in a lighter tone, while the grid-patterned lightweight textile in-between boasts the titular hue. The lateral profile swoosh delivers stark white contrast, but partially brings a dark shade of grey onto the speckled midsole. “7”-branded forefoot ridges deviate from their greyscale surroundings in an ostensibly glow-in-the-dark green; the same detail denotes Air Zoom cushioning from underfoot.

An official Nike.com release date is still unknown, but the KD 13 “Cool Grey” is likely to launch in the coming weeks. In the meantime, enjoy a closer look at the pair here below.
