United Arrows Shifts Their Monochromatic Design Language To The New Balance 1700

United Arrows Shifts Their Monochromatic Design Language To The New Balance 1700

In nearly all of their collaborations, United Arrows has aimed for a minimal, near entirely achromatic visual aesthetic. And their series of New Balances, which have added new releases nearly every season, is now bringing said motifs to yet another silhouette: the 1700.

As it’s hued entirely in a dark grey, the offering is for the most part straightforward. More akin to a store exclusive, the pair changes seemingly very little about the overall construction; the Japanese imprint has simply preferred to filter the USA made composition in a tone more appropriately paired with their mainline collection of garments. The neutral works its way into the suede found along the entirety of the upper — providing these panels a near dusty appearance as a result — while the embroidered insignia contrast in bright white threading. Soles tweak to match though with a few hits of light grey sprinkled along the heel and back tread.

Grab a detailed look at these here and find them available for pre-order right now on United-arrows.co.jp. Delivery is expected November 2020.

In other news, a yellow New Balance Vision Racer was revealed.
