Elliot Santiago Although we no longer will be seeing Damian Lillard ball out on the court for the rest of the playoffs, we’ll never forget the absolutely insane numbers he racked up during his tenure down in the Orlando season that lead to his earning of the unanimous bubble MVP award. And even without any more games to play, the Oakland native still has plenty of exciting things on the way including that of twin babies with his fiancee, in addition to the first unveiling of his next signature shoe with the Three Stripes — the adidas Dame 7.
Due to the fact that Lillard will be featured on the cover of the upcoming NBA2k21 video game, the Portland point guard and his adidas crew have decided to digitally showcase the shoes’ “I Am My Own Fan” colorway in-game today for the celebration of 2KDay. In terms of shape, they arrive pretty similar to the adidas Dame 6 with a mid-top construction, but the uppers separate themselves as they now come packaged with all-over stripes that appear to be formed with microscopic dots. Gamers will be able to outfit their 2K21 MYPLAYER avatar with a virtual version of the 2K exclusive colorway and matching apparel items. Furthermore, fans can to tune into an interview with Dame himself about the new collection featured in 2KTV, in addition to receive the opportunity to enter in an exclusive social media giveaway. Grab a first look here, and note that the shoes will be dropping on adidas.com come October.
For other adidas news, the Yeezy Quantum is restocking tomorrow in full family sizes.
