Michael Le The Nike LeBron 18, though newly introduced, has pre-prepared a strong roster of inaugural releases for both adults and kids. And come the end of October, we’re to see both celebrate the Lakers by way of a simple Court Purple and Metallic Gold accented colorway.
Unlike the offerings that predate it, the appearance is far more subdued and replete of neutrals; rather than an array of vibrant graphics, the design here makes use of more widespread solids. Thick Knitposite weaves the upper in dark black, supported by matching Flywire along the profile; subtle bits of Court Purple are then embedded within, rounding off much of the palette in complement to the heel counter’s full coloring and the subtle accents found atop the white midsole as well as within the Air unit. Elsewhere, the pair is branded along the forefoot in gold embroidery, cushioned across the tongue with additional Air, and marked on the insole with the Lakers insignia.
