After putting on an absolute clinic down in Orlando and adding the NBA bubble MVP award to his list of personal accolades, Damian Lillard is now focusing on preparation for the 2020-2021 season. Of course, with a new season comes new footwear, and starting next month, the Bay Area native will finally be able to deliver his seventh signature shoe with the Three Stripes: the adidas Dame 7. Prior to today, we only had a small glimpse at its design thanks to the folks over at NBA2K who virtually debuted the sneaker in-game for 2KDay, but now, actual imagery of an impending three-toned colorway have emerged.
For this pair, each side contains what appear to be mesh-constructed uppers that feature tonal black stripes running from toe-to-heel, but each foot alternates between red midsoles/heels on the left and blue midsoles/heels on the right. Various branded hits are also incorporated onto these hoops-ready kicks including the “DME 7 IMA VISIONARY” that rest along the lateral mid-foot molds, a tonal “7” tab at the bottom of the throat”, an adidas logo layered over the laces, and the word “DAME” spelled out in Street Fighter-like, oversized font on the treading. You can view a closer look here, and find these likely dropping on adidas.com in the coming months.
For other news, more Pharrell adidas Primeknit Superstars have been revealed.
