Typically self-referential, the Air Jordan 1 Low has gradually amassed a roster of colorways directly inspired by its high-top counterpart’s more prominent OGs. From the Black Toe to the beloved Chicago, we’ve seen near all made more accessible through the low profile alternative, and alongside, it’s also introduced several variations like this upcoming Women’s Black/White/Red colorway.
But while the parts themselves are heritage-influenced, the color blocking is distinct. White neutrals dress the toe box, swoosh, and tongue — the latter splattered with brightly embroidered Jumpman insignia — while the overlays both at the forefoot and heel darken in a matted black suede. Saturated reds then round off the palette adjacent, hued only along the mid-panel, tread, and the inside of the eyestay’s construction.
Grab a quick look at these here and expect a release to hit Nike.com likely within the coming months.
In other news, the Air Jordan 3 Blue Cement is finally hitting US.
