Although he was sorely missed during the 2019-20 NBA Playoffs, Stephen Curry has been working, from interviewing some of the most brilliant minds of today to pumpin’ iron. Among the many projects the Golden State Warriors guard has been dedicating time to, the next signature sneaker with Under Armour has undoubtedly been one of the most anticipated, and the UA Curry 8 is positioned to debut on December 11th.
While design details are still unknown, the new silhouette is touted as arriving in a simple “Black/White” colorway and in sizing for adults and kids. Like the Curry 7, the successor may indulge in a low-cut trim, as well as in the synthetic leather, mesh and TPU skins across the upper. As for the sole unit, Curry’s latest performance-basketball footwear endeavor may boast a modified version of UA’s Micro G® foam midsole and energy-returning HOVR™ technology, the former appearing on Joel Embiid‘s own shoes.
Check back as December 11th approaches for the latest updates and a comprehensive “Where to Buy” list for the Curry 8.
Elsewhere in the basketball world, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Bruce Lee” duo arrives on November 24th.
