Jovani Hernandez As rumors spread around the sports world about his potential new teammates, Kyrie Irving and his NIKE, Inc. family are moving along with the Nike Kyrie 7‘s catalog. After dropping in a handful of colorful arrangements rooted in the Brooklyn Nets guard’s creative interests, the basketball sneaker has toned things down in a classic “Black/University Red/White” colorway.
While predominantly clad in a dark palette, the latest from Irving’s signature sneaker line boasts the multi-graphic pattern created right onto the composite textile upper. The two support accents near the vamp (which feature a stripe each as a nod to the number “11”) feature a light scarlet trim, but they’re overshadowed by the fully-indulgent medial side swoosh logo and lateral forefoot tooling. Elsewhere, Uncle Drew’s signatures on the heel, as well as other branding on the outsole, further partake in the rich red tone. The surrounding areas boast all-“Black” makeups, creating the beloved two-tone color scheme that has become synonymous with some of NIKE, Inc.’s most iconic sneakers ever.
