Michael Le After dressing up in Triple Black, the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu is opting for the other end of the tonal spectrum, its upper’s now doused in white and covered overhead with embroidered Chinese lettering.
Throughout the weave, the achromatic shade covers widespread, taking with it the Boost sole, the cages along the profile and the leather-constructed heel tab. Branding, though, is marked in a black like the lining, creating a subtle contrast that somewhat references the monochromatic colorways seen prior. Forward, the aforementioned embellishment threads atop the toe box in matching shade, so the “Human Race” messaging that’s typically bold is made near invisible.
