Michael Le As we all collectively celebrate the end of the longest year in history, 2021 will look bright by any comparison. Jordan Brand, though, are making such wishful thinking a reality as they’ve prepared quite a few standouts for both the start and end of the coming 12-month span. Alongside the Jordan 13 Court Purple and the Jordan 1 Pollen, we’ll be greeted by the newly leaked Air Jordan 9 “Chile Red” this Fall.
One of the loudest nods to the Chicago Bulls, the entire upper is coated in the titular shade. As the mock-up speculates, everything from the subtly textured side panel to the lower suede mudguard is dressed the same, each embellished at their stitches with dark black threading. The lace unit, lining, and midsole further outfit with said neutral, completing a two-toned aesthetic that finishes with darkened Jumpman insignia.
