Though it escaped all mention upon Jordan Brand’s Spring 2021 reveal, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is releasing next year for certain. Following leaks quite a few months ago, SNKRS has officially unveiled the upcoming Retro, its announcement accompanied by a tour through all of the colorway’s past iterations.
In terms of design, the revival is as close to the original as possible, with everything brought back to “exact specifications” as touted by the Jumpman themselves. Along the upper, the construction bears a smooth leather all throughout, its panels color blocked along the unders with the signature red and atop the overlays with a neutral white. Perforations accent all across the profile up to a tongue that’s shrouded with nylon shields and accompanied by matching lace locks. What’s more, the pair makes history as the first reissue to feature Nike Air branding at the heel.
Grab a quick preview of the AJ6 “Carmine” here and sit tight as they’re hitting Nike SNKRS on February 13th, 2021.
