Vans Adds Pony Hair Uppers To Their Old Skool 36 DX “Lux Color Block” Pack

Vans Adds Pony Hair Uppers To Their Old Skool 36 DX “Lux Color Block” Pack

Through Anaheim Factory, Vans has overtly expressed their attention to quality and heritage, the sub-label an effective celebration of the brand’s 54-year-long history. And as part of this on-going homage, we’re to see the Old Skool 36 DX dressed up in two past colorways, each elevated in material for the unfolding “Lux Color Block” pack.

While each of the upcoming schemes are familiar — as one uses a universal Grey/White, while the other outfits in Pink/White — their constructions are far more surprising, with faux pony furs covering the panels from toe to heel. Even the Jazz Stripe along the profile and the tongues above match in fabrication, contrasting that of the laces and lining who opt for cotton and leathers, respectively.

Paired with an OrthoLite footbed for comfort, the two Old Skools should be arriving at Vans.com very soon.
