As announced months ago, Jordan Brand has prepared quite a large set of standouts for the Spring 2021 season. And, following the debut of the Why Not Zer0.4, the imprint is offering their first Air Jordan 1 High of the year — the “Volt Gold.”
Alongside a bright, neon-packed colorway, the pair delivers a few more interesting and relatively subtle tweaks to the construction. For example, the ankle flaps are outlined with extra material and withheld of their usual stitch, thus making the panel more pronounced in ways outside of its “Volt” coloring. What’s more, the tongue label is flipped inside-out and constructed of a see-through, orange synthetic, its tone complementing that of the counter below. Elsewhere, the rest of the upper is for the most part typical, its leathers layered first with white and then overlaid with black toe caps, eye stays, and Swooshes. The sole, in slight contrast, then hints with a bit of “Sail.”
Grab one more look at these ahead of their Saturday release, and if you want to ensure you get yourself a pair, keep an eye out on the retailers below come the January 9th drop date.
In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 1 Hyper Royal were just revealed.
