Detailed Look At The Upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Fusion Red”

Among the earliest teased sneakers for Spring 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Fusion Red” first emerged in August 2020 via an unauthorized mock-up. Recently, the vibrant proposition has appeared in detailed product shots ahead of a rumored June 21st release date.

At first glance, the pair abandons the team and legacy-related color palettes that have historically been reserved for Peter Moore’s original design. “White” tumbled leather sets the stage for “Light Fusion Red” smooth overlays across the forefoot, midfoot and heel. Profile swooshes and collars indulges in the eye-catching too, but do so with the “Laser Orange” tone that appeared on options from Nike SB and Nike Sportswear throughout 2020. Other details–wings logos, collar lining, outsoles–indulge in stark “Black” contrast, but they’re overshadowed by the gradient that animates this Jordan 1‘s “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue.
