Jovani Hernandez Whether you’re rooting for the Tampa Buccaneers or Kansas City Chiefs (or neither because your team is out), Super Bowl LV is set to be a memorable event. One day ahead of the event in Tampa, FL, the Air Jordan 12 Low “Super Bowl” launches in limited quantity.
At first glance, the low-top retro resembles the “Flu Game” iteration of Tinker Hatfield’s 25-year-old design. Closer inspection, however, reveals details specific for the matchup between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. For starters, the “JUMPMAN”-branded accents at the midfoot indulge in a special metallic golf finish; top eye-stays do as well. A confetti pattern animates the collar and inner lining, nodding to the celebration that occurs at the end of the widely-anticipated sporting event. The remainder of the Jordan 12-variant follows standard design cues, but the underside of the pull tab at the heel features the host-city’s area code: 813.
