The Nike Air Max 97 Appears In A Fan-Favorite “White/Light Gum Brown” Style

The Nike Air Max 97 has recently emerged in a handful of statement-making colorways, including a vibrant pair commemorating Los Angeles. For its next proposition, Christian Tresser’s design has opted into a simple, but notable predominantly “White” makeup accompanied by a “Light Gum Brown” outsole.

The pair’s breathable, mesh base indulges in a faint blue tone that’s previously appeared on the 24-year-old silhouette. Synthetic leather overlays all along the profiles deliver stark “White” contrast to the understated option. Midsoles also opt into a clean aesthetic, but the visible Air Max unit and the tread underfoot deviate from the top-half in shades of gum brown.

Enjoy official images of this Air Max 97 here below, and expect pairs to hit Nike.com in the summer.

In related sneaker news, the Air Tuned Max is scheduled to make its first retro run throughout 2021.
