Pharrell Williams is never not working. He’s proven it time and time again throughout the past three decades, most recently via his Humanrace line of skincare products. On the footwear front, the Virginia Beach, VA-native has teamed up with his adidas squad to produce more stealthy options.
A follow-up to the 19+ piece collection launched in mid-December 2020, the forthcoming capsule includes an NMD Hu, a 0 to 60, D.O.N. Issue #2, Crazy BYW 2.0 and two pairs under the off-road-ready TERREX imprint. All four sneakers indulge in a tonal “Core Black” arrangement that differs from Pharrell‘s earliest colorful collaborations with the German sportswear manufacturer. BOOST and EVA foam-cushioned propositions are constructed with a mix of materials, including suede and mesh, and all feature “Humanrace” branding throughout the upper. Williams’ take on the once-dominant NMD, however, boasts “BREATHE” and “THOUGHTS” text across right and left shoe’s Primeknit base, respectively.
