KITH Paris Commemorates Store Opening With Collaborative Nike Air Force 1

Shown off all the way back in August of last year, the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 “Paris” is finally due to release this week. But, if you happen to be stuck here in the US, it won’t be an easy cop as the pair is launching exclusively for the grand opening of KITH Paris.

In inspiration, the collaboration is rather straightforward, drawing overtly from the French flag. The signature red, white, and blue is clad atop many of the subtler fixtures, including the tri-color of the forefoot’s miniature Swoosh and the tongue’s woven label. Elsewhere, an all-white, premium leather takes the lead. At most points — such as the forefoot, heel, and eye stay — the material is bereft of design; but along the mid-panel, a “KITH” monogram sees a tonal display. What’s more, the heel is removed of its “NIKE AIR” and given an appropriate “KITH AIR” instead.
