The Nike Air Max 97 Does Its Best 95 Impression With Silver And Neon

This month, Nike has been revealing a handful of inventive Air Max 97 colorways, including a pair covered in Air Max iconography. Adding to the collection is a pair that seems to take a page out of its counterpart’s playbook as this upcoming pair sports a grey and neon green makeup reminiscent of the iconic Air Max 95 “Neon,” which had just been re-released late 2020.

The model sports a wholly grey construction of mesh and leather. Reflective piping details in a wave-like design are present, as seen on various releases. The mini Swooshes on the tongue label and the mudguards are tinted in a bright green comparable to craft a color palette similar to that of the aforementioned Air Max 95. This same shade is applied to the full-length Air unit that crafts the sole unit to round out the sporty design.

Enjoy the official images here below, while you wait for the pair to arrive at the listed retailers in the coming months for $170.

In other Swoosh-related news, an upcoming Air Force 1 turns to playing cards for design inspiration.
